What a past couple of days. We lost our ac on Sunday afternoon, after we got back with our grooming tools to clip our wonderful poodles. So in 90 degree heat, jack and I clipped Loki and chip ourselves. I will say they don't look to bad. Well today jack left for work, got to work had no and I mean no power. He came home around noon, after a sweaty nap with Byron. We took him outside to play with the hose. That boy was so happy, running around laughing getting us wet. His smile is electric. Even though we had no ac, I saw the true happiness in my sons face. I saw the joy, filling a hole with water makes him. How getting sprayed by the hose can make his face scrunch up with laughter. Life doesn't get any better then this. Oh ac is back on, all is right with the world. ................ All is right in a 2 yr olds world.

You know I've learned a lot since I've had Byron. The joy of sand, rain puddles, new shoes and sommuch more. Little boys are so much fun. They have their loveies, they love to give hugs. But they are very active, byrons happiest when he's running, trying new things. Like I said very active. For me its a blast watching his eyes light up and sparkle. Everyday bring some new adventure. It's wonderful adventure raising a boy.

Nn well it's Friday, it's usually take out night. But jack wants to go to steak and shake. So that's what's for dinner. Since I've been trying new recipes this wk, it's nice to have the night off. Byron's going to have a great time. But today's been fun, tickle monster showed up to attack Byron. He ran and dove into the hall closet. There is nothing better then his laughter. He defently has my laugh.

Byrons awake babbling in his room with his dino. Somedays I wish he could just talk.

Byron had his 2 yr check up. Ped. was happy about Heath, he's big as normal. Alittle over 3 ft and 34.4lbs. Big concern his pain threshold. Now I know it's normal for toddlers to fall, trip, and cry. Byron does 2 or of the 3, he's ran into walls, scrapped both knees, and hands, fallen into a fire ant mound, no cries, no tears nothing. Now if it's a surprise, tears, owie. They want him to see a pediatric neurologist , since there is a family history of high pain threshold. It's gotten to the point where if he falls and doesn't cry, he's ok.
I don't want him to think I don't care, I just want to get to the bottom, and figure out how make this better for Byron.

In the beginning there was jack, me . We got married on November 5, 2005, it was a small ceremony in my parents back yard. It was like 2 families got together for a party, and 2 people married. We had a happy life, when he got our. First child, a black mini poodle named Loki. Then came our second son, chip!! That's how it was in the beginning, then we found out I was pregnant . Finding out I was having a boy, was the happiest day of my life. Shortly after that we lost jack grandma. I still miss that woman. Now I'm not going into the gory about byrons birth, just it took me 18 and a half hrs. Shortly after midnight he was born, the most perfect boy in the world. I had no idea, what lied ahead of me. What raising a boy was like. Boy was in for some fun. Byrons now 2, it seems like yes have passed since those early days.
